Decode the Fall 2021 Admission Cycle with Karen

Description

For this project, I coded a program that helps international high school applicants navigate the already nuanced US college application system by helping them identify if the school they are interested in requires them to submit an ACT/SAT test score for the upcoming Fall 2021 cycle. Due to COVID-19, many US colleges and universities have moved to suspend the testing requirement since many students are unable to sit for the test in the spring and summer but there remain caveats for international applicants. This program interacts with the user asking for which schools they are inquiring about and then it will return the appropriate admission policies based on the type of international applicant the user initially inputs.
