Project 1166

by Luke X

Description

The program is designed to give a basic idea of what a protein's amino acid sequence would look like if given a DNA sequence, usually those obtained from online databases. It takes in a user input of said DNA gene sequence and returns the sequence of amino acids in the protein, using the 3-letter abbreviations for the 20 genetically encoded acids. This program would only apply to bacterial genes for higher-level biological reasons (mRNA processing).
