In my short-lived career with a financial service company, a lot of what I do there was copying and pasting lastest releases to the corresponding spreadsheets and updating the time series plots. In my 'baby step' to programming, I wrote a program that goes through a series of csv files, finds the information interested to the user, brings it together to one file and updates the time series plots.
